1997 Honda Civic Type R – 130K KM / 80K Miles

The First Honda Civic to receive the Type R badge was introduced on August 19, 1997, as the EK9. The EK9 shared many characteristics with Integra Type R DC2/JDM DB8 such as omission of sound deadening and other weight reduction measures, a hand-ported B16B engine, front helical limited-slip differential and a Close-ration transmission. The B16B engine boasted one of the highest power output per liter of all time for a naturally aspirated engine with 182 hp at 8,200 rpm and 118 lb ft at 7500 rpm of torque from 1.6L of displacement. Reinforced chassis was used to improve rigidity.

The car has been professionally cleaned inside and outside with many OEM amenities to offer from the factory. The engine pulls strong and with the LSD transmission it feels solid in every gear at any RPM. The car runs and drives beautifully without issues.
